Woodford School Lusaka excelled at the 2024 World Scholar’s Cup Lusaka Regional Round that was
held on March 9 and 10 at Rhodes Park School and Government Complex, respectively.
One of the event’s highlights was the honouring of Elliana Habadah, one of our students, with the prestigious Jac Khor Award for achieving the highest overall score in the junior division. Congratulations to Elliana for this outstanding achievement.
Overall, our students showcased exceptional performance by achieving the fourth position in the team challenge, second place in collaborative writing, and second place in team debate, among other accolades. All teams from Woodford School Lusaka successfully qualified for the Global Round, marking a significant milestone in the competition.
This achievement provides scholars with the opportunity to compete on an international platform. The scholars will now focus on rigorous preparation to represent their school and demonstrate their intellectual prowess at the global level.
The school earned an impressive total of 68 gold medals, 107 silver 5 trophies.
