Woodford School Lusaka is proud and delighted to announce that our students qualified for the final round of the World Scholars Cup, The Tournament of Champions at Yale University in the United States of America.
Although our junior teams (also known as skittles) were the youngest at the global round event, they took up the challenge and competed exceptionally well winning 22 medals (seven gold and fifteen silver).
Congratulations to our students on this spectacular achievement and for being the first team to qualify for the tournament of champions since Woodford School Lusaka started participating in the World Scholars Cup events in 2018.
The next stop is the Tournament of Champions at Yale University and the Woodford School team is scheduled to travel on November 9. We wish the team the best of luck on their march to conquer the world.
