12 to September 16 2022 was an exciting week for our learners as Reception and Grade 1 students took field trips to Chaminuka Nature Reserve.

The students had the chance to tour the reserve, which is home to over 300 species of birds and 72 different animal species and reptiles. They spotted lions, cheetahs, ostriches, hyenas, giraffes, and elephants as they went across the landscape on this educational tour.

Nestled in the scenic northeastern outskirts of Lusaka, Chaminuka is a wildlife sanctuary and estate which started as a stately home for its founder,  author and historian, Andrew Sardanis.
