On Saturday, the 21st, Woodford School Lusaka hosted the highly anticipated Koloso Champion of Numbers Festival, a vibrant competition where learners engaged in various mathematical challenges. The festival was designed to celebrate the power of numbers while encouraging students to develop their mathematical skills through fun and interactive activities.
Participants from seven schools, spanning various grade levels, engaged in a range of sports games, mental arithmetic challenges, and time-sensitive problem-solving tasks. These activities promoted cognitive growth while sparking a love for mathematics among the young learners. It was an exciting day as students became “champions of numbers,” pushing their limits and collaborating with peers to solve challenging tasks.
Woodford School Lusaka students proudly claimed second place this year! A huge congratulations to our brilliant learners and the incredible efforts of their coaches, Mr. Joshua Miti and Mr. Michael Sakala. Well done, team. You’ve made us all proud with your performance!
