On Thursday, September 8, the Minister of Health announced the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions regarding:
- public gatherings
- the need for physical distancing and;
- mandatory wearing of masks
The Minister also stated that those who wish to wear masks for health or other personal reasons might continue to do so. Woodford School Lusaka welcomes this development as we transition back into
everyday life.
The health and safety of our students and staff remain our priority. Navigating life under COVID-19 requires combined efforts of the entire school community as this public health situation evolves. Children
should not be sent to School when they are not feeling well. They should only be brought back to School at Family Doctor’s advice to protect the entire school community.
We will continue to work closely with both Ministries of Health and Education as they monitor and adjust public health guidelines to meet community and school needs. We remain very grateful for your continued support and personal commitment to help keep one another as safe as possible during
this ongoing pandemic.
