With exam grades having been back on campus since June 01, Woodford School Lusaka staff were excited to welcome back all of the other classes on Tuesday, September 22
The car park became a hive of activity as learners were dropped off by their parents and ushered towards hand washing and hygiene stations by member of staff.
Pupils were anxious, but excited to be back in class for the first time since March 20. They will soon get used to schooling in the ‘new normal’, including having to adhere to all the safety stipulated measures, including:
- Compulsory use of face masks
- Physical distancing among all staff and learners
- High levels of sanitation and hygiene
- Enhanced health education
- Health monitoring
