Young entrepreneurs, creative ideas and businesses in the making. Woodford School Lusaka was buzzing with activity as our learners put their entrepreneurial skills to the test during Entrepreneurship Day 2026, held under the theme “BIG IDEAS, BRIGHT FUTURES!”
The day provided our learners with an exciting opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience what it means to be a young entrepreneur. From developing creative business ideas and designing products to setting prices, marketing their businesses and engaging with customers, our learners demonstrated impressive enthusiasm, confidence and initiative.
We are especially grateful to Ignite for giving our learners the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship from a young age. Through this experience, they discovered how businesses can start small and grow through creativity, saving, effective marketing and determination. These are valuable lessons that extend far beyond Entrepreneurship Day.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to our teachers and parents, whose time, creativity and support played a significant role in making the day such a success. From helping learners prepare their ideas to supporting their stalls and encouraging them throughout the event, your partnership helped make the experience truly memorable.
Entrepreneurship Day was about more than selling products. It was an opportunity to build confidence, encourage creativity and help our learners recognise the value of their ideas. By giving young minds the space to imagine, create, innovate and inspire, we help them take their first steps towards a bright future.
